9182-Vetro is a Signature Exclusive Hearst Castle design adapted from 15th Century Florentine choir stalls acquired in an auction by William Randolph Hearst. Craftsmen reconfigured them into the wood paneling surrounding the Library Lobby. Our version is an adaptation of a single element put into a small repeat, woven with rayon chenille, and then washed to acquire richness and a soft hand. Vetro is available in five color combinations and is shown here in Especia.
9183-Fiorito is a Signature Exclusive Hearst Castle design inspired by two small 16th Century Florentine chairs, located in the hallway lobby leading to the sitting room in Casa del Mar. Our version of this classic damask is woven on exclusive, custom ombree cotton warps, adding tonal interest while accenting the damask figure. This pattern meets 30,000 double rubs and comes with a calendared finish. Fiorito is available in seven colorways and is shown here in Especia.
